Can't go wrong with the VG. All 3 of those most would aggree that the OS would be easier to break in and tune. The Werks and Nova are great quality too, I just think the OS will be easier to learn with.

Ofna 086 or JP-2 with the nod going to the JP-2 since they are so durable.

I would suggest the b3. A few of the locals in my area have had issues with the vg.

go with the vg. i'm gonna buy an 1/8 buggy is a couple weeks and this is the motor im putting in with the jp-2 pipe.

i've also heard that they have air leaks but the people said once they sealed it up, it ran smooth and fast.

Another vote for the VG...Great price, good power, good reliability, great longevity (if kept tuned), and easy to keep tuned. Definitely a great engine for anyone, especially someone new to nitro...The pipe depends on the size of the track. I prefer the JP-3 unless you are on a really small, tight, track. Then go with the JP-1.

I have both the VG and the B-3. My Vg was a pain to break in, the pinch was way to tight an then after a little over a gallon it lost compression. In my experience OS is hit or miss. I have had one that ran great and still runs great but then another one that crapped out way too soon.

The B3 has been a great motor with a slight power advantage over the VG. I ran both with a JP-2.

i havent ran the vg but i love my nova 3 port..runs great all around.im using the jp-2 pipe too. even on the throttle lots im getting good run times too atleast 7 minutes and lots at 10 minutes..
