charging at 1 amp with a peak charger wont take a few hours.

I use a peak charger @ 1.2 amps, and it only takes about 30 minutes if it's low.

On your new pack for the first charge you need to do a forming charge. Charge it for about 14 to 16 hours the first time with this wall wart charger. After that it will take about 8 to 10 hours (overnight). The forming charge is a critical step if you want the pack to last. I suggest that you look into getting an loaded voltmeter to keep a check on the voltage of the battery. Regular checks will help to lower the chances of a runaway do the the battery dumping.

So with the ofna wall charger !!! Charge it for 14 to 16 hours then run it?
Then charge it for 8 to 10 at night after discharged
