Default Just got my Savage .25

Hey Guys, i just got my savage .25, i got it off Ebay, everything seems fine, ive yet to run it but i should have it going tomorrow, im gonna get some fuel for it. i jsut had a few questions.

Ive never actually started one of these, ive seen it done at my local hobby shop, sadly, they went out of business so i have to drive 25 minutes to the nearest one. I was wondering, when i charge the glo plug, does it actually glo? im not sure if it is charging or not because it isnt glowing. Am i dumb? or is it broke?

Another thing, the guy that owned the truck put a spring on the throttle that prevents the throttle from pulling to much to open up, is that supposed to be there, or did he pt almost like a governer on it?

Long Thread i know, ill appreciate the ffedback though! Thanks!

I say that going to your LHS is the best way to learn about RC's. When you charge the ignitor it doesn't glow, but when you put it on the glow plug it will glow. If you want to check it just take the plug out and push the plug in with your fingers and see if it glows.
