Is the battery strap for the MX4 the same as the touring cars use??? I recently got the car but it has no battery strap. Does anyone know is Yokomo USA carries rims for the car? To lazy to call them (until I have to!).

I doubt the battery strap would be the same seeing that the MX4 was released before the larger 3000 cells were out but see if you can borrow one to test it. If you didn't know the MX4 battery strap is made of fibreglass or carbon fibre and has 6 rectangular cutouts for the cells and 2 holes on either end for fitment to the battery posts. Yokomo USA should have rims, tower hobbies does...

Hey guys, I have an old MX4 that I bought a long time ago. I haven't used the buggy in years and it's really beatup and needs a lot of parts replaced. Do you guys know of any online stores which sell replacement parts and hopups for the MX4?

Thanks

Cool, how old is it? I love finding old RC cars I used to race with.
