what Soldering setup should i get?
could someone point me in the right direction please,
i would like to know what soldering iron setup and accessories to get for using down at the race track and at home for maintaining a brushless system and batteries for 1/10th off road, thanks
does anyone have any links to any tutorials/guides/tips showing how to go about doing the above, thanks

well i use a hakko936, alot of guys use this iron. it comes with everything you'll need to get started. i do recommend right off you buy the broad tip for it if you plan on doing your own batteries. also if you have fry's electronics where you live buy it there, it will be around 15 to 25 dollars cheaper than your track shop or a national hobby chain store.

I use a 40W Weller. Just get the holder at RadioShack for $10. I use it for everything, including assembling batteries.

im in england, just did a quick google search for Hakko in the uk and they are priced at almost £100, good going typical rip off britain! i do not think i will be using a iron enough to justify spending that, not after all the cash i have already spent on car parts
i did however come across a Aoyue 936 solder station, looks like a Hakko clone? and theres on ebay for £29.95 + p&p know anything about these ones?

Hakko. Unless you can find an Ungar. These two are in a class of their own when it comes to irons.
