after looking closer i have realized that the gearbox plate is a lot smaller. the chassis looks almost the exact same otherwise though. different towers and battery strap. most of it looks the same though.

oople- The most part of the chassis is the same, but if you look at the bottom of the car pics you will see where the chassis and front bulkhead meet has changed, making the overall lengths longer. So to answer your question for the most part the chassis is the same, but that is the only part that is.
Streetracer- From what Im told the tranny is completely new, including the gears.
Unfortunatly no Pre-Order, how ever, the public will be able to purchases this car just a couple weeks after the team will, so not too much of a wait.

I can't wait for this car. Ben, have you had an opportunity to drive the car yet? I assume the rear wheels are the same as the ZX-5, but how do the front wheels connect to the car? Is it similar to Associated or Losi? Possibly neither?
if this car places in the top ten at the world count me in and ive never ran off road just like kyosho.
that and its about the only raceable metric 2wd buggy

Believe me, I'm not making any predictions but wouldn't it be cool for Kyosho if the Ultima won the worlds this year? ...20 years after the first Ultima did it in 1987...
