Looks decent. It would be nice of some of the parts were interchangeable with the Lazer since I have one of those.

I think some of the parts are interchangable. About as many as you can expect from a 2wd to a 4wd.

Post Actually I'm fairly certain that Kyosho.....

us the prefix RB for their Ready Built models so no wonder it's plastic.

This looks more like it.....

http://translate.google.com/translat...icrosoft:en-us

Then scroll down to the item about the RB5 (I think the name might change )

Ok, the only difference I can see between the car you posted and the one from Nurnberg are the carbon towers and battery strap. The Lazer ZX-5 was released without much for option parts on it and I suspect that this car will be the same way, but it would be really cool if it did end up coming with carbon tower and batt strap!

what i meant from the comment plastic, was that the suspension mounts are plastic. i just thought they would have at least the rear mount alum. like the losi bk2.. also when i owned the ultima rb type r.. it had the plastic kick up late in the front just like this buggy does but the problem the old car had with that was the bellcrank post would pop out of it.. but i do remember they came out with an optional post were there was screws on the top and bottom to prevent that. and they also came out with the alum. front plate.. i just figred that this car would have that stuff right off the bat.

I thought Kyosho's terminology was "Ready Set" for RTR's. I think RB means racing buggy. They didn't call their RTR Stadium truck RB...it was ST for Stadium Truck. But, who knows...

Yeah, I know what you mean. The newest losi car has all plastic suspesnion mounts so I guess it's just a matter of getting it right in design. I run 1/8th too so I can definetly appreciate some good ol' metal where it counts. This Kyosho's layout reminds me more of the Associated B3. The proto had losi style front spindles and I wish that had stayed with those. I hope this car does well, 2wd has been a 2 horse race for far too long.

Nice to see another entrant. The vehicle for some reason reminds of chassis wise of the Raven BX. Probably because of its width.

This car is completly redesigned. Even though the chassis looks very similar, it has geometery tweeks and is longer. Tranny, rear end, front end suspension, is ALL redesigned. Release date is mid to late April.

Are you sure on the chassis changed ben? I'd just like to get my facts right for when I get this car and talk about it. I know the chassis 'looks' like the old one, but I have only seen photos of the older car. I just imagined they couldn't afford the huge cost of a new chassis mould and so build upon it.
