Default motor mount problem

Hello i have a sportwerks mayhem and the motor took a crap.So i head over to the hobby shop and they talked me in to the Mach.28.They said should fit fine.Well it did not the first problem was the motor mounts are not tall enough. So back down to the hobby shop i go.They sell a spacer and tell me to redill the holes on it because they don't line up with the holes on the motor. So i did and now i'm going through clutch bell gears because the spur gear sits to far back on the clutch bell.i need to know how i can fix this is there a motor mount out there that is taller and that will let the motor sit back so the gears will sit right. Thanks for any info........Scott
