Default 1/8 buggy engine question

What is the best engine on the market as far as fuel mileage and power output. My track isnt filled with tons of great drivers so the people that pit the least have a huge advantage. I know some of the modded v-specs are getting good mileage. So considering all the mods and everything what engine and who should mod it to get the best fuel mileage and still have some snot.

Right Here:

I managed a 14 minute run on my unmodified version. We have a relatively small track, so a motor with good power in lower RPMs is well suited to it.

the new GO motors are great. we have a huge track here now in az. The Pit, home to this years 07 nitro challenge. these motors are also right at 200 bucks and it not only keeps up down the 145' straight it blows alot of the motors away. the mileage is assume as well. wish i had one instead of my nova p-5.

their website is racefactor industries.
