Check oople.com for more information, as well as the atomic carbon website. FYI, its BJ4 WE based.

Hi Guys,

I am running the Atomic-Carbon S4 this year, I also had a few ideas of mine go into the car.

have a look at http://www.doughtyuk.net/ and also some more pics at http://www.doughtyuk.net/index.php?pid=30

contact Jonathan via the Atomic-Carbon website if you want more details, its not officially in production at the moment, but there have been a few eager customers that have purchased the Prototype spec.

it is a conversion for the BJ4

some pictures of the internals here http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/atomic-s4/index.html

None of these tell me anything about the car.... The're all just pictures.
But I would have to buy a BJ4 1st and then a conversion kit huh? Cuz that would leave me more or less..broke

The body looks wicked. I would try one on my ZX-5 KM chassis. Anyone know where to get the body?

you wont find that many details about it yet, its not officially available.

but basically, yes, a BJ4, then this as a conversion option.

its not intended to be a cost effective option, think of it like the Ferrari Enzo of the RC world

So you posted a thread, then complained about not having any information after people posted helpful links....and then you were just blowing smoke....nice.

Just some extra info for you guys.

The main aim was to build a car that suited our UK / European style of tracks which are mainly med/high grip grass or multi surface (astro turf). As almost all the off road cars are aimed at lower grip dirt style tracks (as this is there largest market).

Making a car as cheap as possible was not my aim, simply as you comprise the car, i use the best parts and materials i can get, some say this is over kill but this is my choice. I don't intend to mass produce the car, each chassis is hand made here in the UK so i cannot make hundreds of them

At the moment the cost for a complete conversion kit from a BJ4WE to a S4 is working out at GBP £250 (approx $475) and i am hoping to have a small number of conversion kits ready March / April.

In testing we have found the car to be at least a match for any other car, and to my surprise the car has gone extremely well on our only dirt track here in the UK, having won both meetings it has raced at. and last weekend Chris ran the car for the 1st time at Kidderminster (multi surface). All i can say is that if we can beat the 2wd World Champ driving a Yok BX with a year of development then we most be doing something right

@ dodgeguy the chassis is 4 inchs wide and the shell is just a little bit more than this. I think it would be to narrow for your chassis.
