Default Team Cobra Pro Comm Lathe Help!

Just was using my Comm Lathe and it was smooth and quiet but then I stopped to do something really quick and when I went to use it again it was making very unusual noises. Loud ones too. I just bought this Comm Lathe from someone here on rctech and I've only used it once before. Do I already need a new tool bit? If so should I get the Diamond bit or carbide bit?

Were you in the middle of a cut or at the end? Did you lube up the v blocks? Do you have your bit set slightly above dead center on the comm?

I tried it on another motor and it was fine. It was the arm wind, I couldn't cut any farther and I guess the copper wasn't cutable anymore.

Do you mean you were hitting the solder taps?
