Losi 8ight on the way - What motor's do you use???
 

I have a Losi 8ight on the way, but I have not ordered a motor yet. What is everyone using? Bashing and racing, I will probably get one for each...

I have 2 that I own and recommend. RB WS7 X3 and also a Hot Mod P5. Both motors are fast and run well. I hope that helps

Guys run anything you can think of. RB C6, V-Spec, Radical, Ninjas, whatever.

V Spec, even in stock form is an animal in power! Gets great run time and no engine runs and idles nicer than a Vspec. My first year running them and can't believe I waited this long! :nod:

it kinda depends on where, and what type of tracks you're gonna run on......if you're gonna buy 2 motors, i'd buy an os .21 v-spec with an os 2050 pipe for larger tracks and an os .21 vg with a jp2 pipe for tighter tracks and bashing. :nod:

if you race/run in a hot/humid environment and want/need an aftermarket head for your os motors, os rocket is absolutly the best there is. they have a great head for the v-spec, and last i talked to them, they said that they were going to have a head for the vg by the first of the year....meaning, they might have it by now. :nod:

Agreed! Love the VSPEC and T2050 combo! As well as the 21RG and JP2 combo!

V-spec here too. But I'm currently trying out a VG. V-spec has a ton of power and the VG is fairly close to it. IMO the Vg is easier to tune and idles smoother though.
