Default i need a new ESC that can handle atleast an 8 turn motor. know of a good one?

i need a speed control that will handle down to atleast an 8 turn motor for a good price. preferably under $100. im putting it into a 4wd buggy and the buggy will have a 8-9 turn motor. final drive ratio of 9.20, if that matters for thermal conditions or anything. any good suggestions? thanks in advance

thats a good deal, but arent those pretty big compared to most racing ESC? i have a real small chassis. can hardly fit a novak XXTra reciever in it. is there a smaller one out? if not the nthats a great deal and ill try to see what i can do.

Both are small. I think the gtx, and the LRP Q3 are the smallest esc's out there.

The Q3 is really small like the gtx. The q1 is still pretty small. Duracrap ecs = junk. Old atom bomb days novak stuff was not that durable. New stuff is AWESOME.

im debating between spending roughly $140 for a brushed system for my buggy, or just getting a mamba max for $185.... the brushless si very tempting, and they are allowed at ym track. but ive been told by people around here that i shouldnt waste that much money considering i just got the buggy. with a 9t brushed and a racing speedo it will be about 10 mph slower, but save me a lot of money

I recommend the Novak GTX. A great ESC and Novak has great customer service. I had an issue with mine and brought it in and they gave me a new one with a new warranty.

everyone in my area is going brushless you save money in the long run plus you do not need a lathe, brushes, springs ect. racing brushed mod requires alot of work to keep it running at peak preformance. but if you do go for brushed tekin g10/g11 are very nice as are the lrp q2 and novak gtx.

i don't know where your getting 10 mph slower, maybe straight line, but in racing on track offroad they aren't any different in top speed, and even a 9t is probally too much for any offroad track i have seen, i run 12t max on even huge nitro big block tracks lol
