Default Do receiver packs loose charge ?

Can I charge reciever batteries a few days before going to the track? Will they loose thier charge from sitting at room temperature?

i see people charging them at the track but I have 3 and would rather charge mine ahead of time.

they will lose the charge, not as fast as driving it, but it will have less run time than a freshly charged battery.

It won't discharge THAT fast. A good thing would be to charge them the day before and if possible repeak them at the track...

Yes they will loose charge with time. Just discharge and recharge the battery and your set.

Charging them a day before racing will be fine.

NIMH and NICD do discharge "on the shelf", but its not that rapid... and not a huge issue for receiver packs as you're not looking for maximum punch (like one does for EP racing, usually try and time the charge so its peaked just before the start of a heat).

Did i make it sound like you would lose half a pack or something? We always charge up the night before, and on race days charge between quals, and before the main.
