Honestly, the only thing I can think of you may want to look at is range of steering from lock to lock. I don't know if this has been corrected on the V2 Pro, but assuming the parts are the same, it will probably still be found on the pro. All I did was rig up another center link. Others have fiddled with the positioning of the linkage on the SBV2 thread.

Other than that, I am assuming all the other issues are already corrected, in particular the rear droop one.

Exactly, all you need to do is set up the steering links differently, I think the V2 Pro manual will take care of this for you, no "MODS" need to be done in order to acheive this.

Dave G,

Thats great to hear. So what seems to be the team standard right now are far as springs they are using for adjustments? Are they using AE springs or Losi springs, or, has Academy got a spring kit out in testing? Would be nice to have a variety of springs direct from Academy to keep it an all Academy vehicle

Also, I know some guys who I spoke with about a 4wd 1/10 scale truggy electric. They were very interested, especially as they are big into brushless and lipos. Anyone rig up any of the popular lipo battery packs into the SB V2 Pro?

the orion lipos should drop right in.
The white and black springs both are not bad choices. The whites are a little softer than AE greens and the blacks are a little stiffer than AE greens. (I think..beaner might prove me wrong though)
The academy greens are too stiff for most of american tracks..

The directions don't use part numbers this isn't going to be the easiest kit to build

well its not like the parts have the PNs on them anyways..so why does it matter if they use them on the fly? All the part numbers are in the manual or some sort of part number list.

I know but it's still easier if they have the part numbers in the instructions. Then sections (ie. A, B, ect) on the bags... nevermind. It works perfectly how it is.
But can anyone recomend a spur gear size if for right now I'm mainly going to be using it in the street and at the track (football field)
thanks

I would start with the 80 tooth spur.
Actually...I don't think I have used anything but the 80 tooth.

The 80 will make for the highest possible overall ratio, aka more torque. This is what i normally use.

run a pinion that is 6-7 teeth over the wind of the motor you are using (for mod motors). so like..a 10 turn, 16-17 tooth.

Spring rate break down-

REARS:
Associated Black - 1.7
Losi White - 1.8
Associated Green - 1.9
Academy White - 1.98
Losi Yellow - 2.0
Associated Silver - 2.1
Losi Pink - 2.3
Associated Gray - 2.3
Associated Blue - 2.5
Academy Green - 2.6
Losi Red - 2.6
Losi Orange - 2.9
Academy Black - 3.3
Losi Silver - 3.4
Losi Green 3.7
Losi Blue - 4.1

Fronts:
Losi Red - 2.5
Academy White - 2.77
Associated Brown - 2.8
Losi Orange - 2.9
Losi Silver - 3.2
Associated Black - 3.2
Losi Green - 3.2
Associated Green - 3.5
Losi Blue - 3.8
Associated Silver - 3.8
Academy Black - 3.9
Academy Green - 4.07
Associated Blue - 4.2

Ive been using Associated greens/silvers on the front and Academy Whites/Associated Silvers on the back lately. The losi front springs are a bit longer then the Academy and Associated springs so if you use them make sure you cut 2 coils off.
