Default Electric 4wd buggy, which one?

After running my mini-t for over 30min on Lipo I thought it would be cool to have a 1/8 or 1/10 scale 4wd electric buggy. I would like to set it up with lipos and maybe a brushless. At my local track there is no electric class but I still want something of race quality. Any suggestions on which one?

Well they dont make a 1/8th scale electric buggy as far as I know, so I think you'll have to go 1/10th. If youre planning on using brushless/lipo, then the drivetrain of the BJ4 should suit you well. Besides that I think those JConcepts guys are testing a similar setup at the moment. Depending on which setup you run, either straight(Original BJ4) or saddle pack(BJ4 WE), theyve got ya covered. Check it out at www.jconcepts.net. If youve got questions shoot them an email, its ususally responded to within the day.

The TenthTech Predator X10 looks like a good one also. Seen one in person, and have been wanting one ever since.

"They" don't make one, but lots of people have been converting their own. However, when you add up the costs involved, plus the hassle of configuration in a car that wasn't designed for it, it might be better to go 1/10th

Not really, you get what you pay for, to an extent. Not to be a jerk or anything, but there are about 10 threads discussing this already and a quick search for " 4wd buggy" would have answered all of your questions in any of the threads. Either of the Losi 4wd buggies, the X-5, the BJ4,and the X10 predator are the best ones out there. Depends on the track compostion, and your driving style, your budget and local parts availability.

Gatermaxx- When i read your first post i was going to right back that I had done a search before posting and came up with so many results that were not really relavant to what i was looking for. Also who makes what? I am familiar with Losi because i run a Losi8 but I have no idea who make x5, bj4 or x10.

x5 = xfactory
ZX5=Kyosho
bj4 = jconcepts (started as an associated hybrid mix)
x10 = tenth technology
TC3-o = rcproductdesigns
these are all 1/10th scale 4wd buggies.
