rx bec voltage ?

rx bec voltage ?
ok il wil try explain what im trying to ask. ok i need a rx for a 3pdf and i see hitec has one for it but it says it is 3 volt bec im running a novak c2 with is bec of 6 i belive. so the ? is by the rx only being 3 will that slow down the servo.

Hmmm.
A little confused by the way you ask, but here goes.
If you look at the specs (torque/speed) for servos it almost always lists 4.8v and 6.0v. The 6.0v rating is faster, and offers more torque. So the answer is yes 3.0v will be slower. At 3.0v I wouldn't be suprised if it is jerky.
Not so sure what the 3pdf is. Why don't you post a link or two. We can look it over and see if your heading in the right direction.

ok the esc puts out 6 but the rx only puts out 3. so what would the servo be getting 3 or 6 the radio is a futaba 3pdf . the rx im looking at is a hitec hfs omm. so does a cheaper rx hurt performance on the servo.

ok great so then my servo will not be slower because of that rx so as long as the esc is 6 volts out right thanks

That is not exactly how it works. The ESC has a BEC that produce usually around 6 volts and between 1 and 5 amps of current and this powers the reciever. If the reciever also has a BEC then it will cut the voltage again to the servos. Probably down to 4.8V so yea the servos will be slower.

so the servos work off the bec or the volts

BTW, this is Futaba's definition of the BEC.

ya i think im with you jg i thought the bec was they for like. say for a nitro car i think if you ran that rx in a nitro then the servos would be slower beacuse of you haveing to use the bec but on elec esc that powers the rx right.
