Any settings for the mid speed needle?

The mid should always be left flush with the housing for Novarossi based engines.

The BO1 doesn't have a mid needle. It's a 2 needle carb. If your talking about the idle screw, the slide in the carb should half about a 1/2mm opening.

The BO1 is a three needle carb, I would know, I have one. :D

Uhhhhh so do I. and I'd like you to tell me where the 3 rd needle is?? :weird:

The mid speed needle is at the end of the carb slide, where the throttle linkage hooks up. You can only see the high speed and idle in the picture above. The adjustment needle is clearly visible in the picture below. Look at the CD that came with the motor. It will show you where to adjust all three of them.

LOL @ Spinall I knew we must have been having a communication breakdown.

The carb on the Ninja is commonly refered to as a 2 needle carb. The one you are calling a mid needle is always called the low speed needle. Are you foreign or something??? LOL :D On a 2 needle carb you have the high speed needle (where the fuel line hooks up) a low speed needle (where the linkage ball goes) and that's it other than the idle screw.

On OS VZB V-spec's and some Nova Rossi motors they have a 3 needle carb with a true mid range needle. On a carb with a mid range needle as we most often refer to it would be located where the TCS plate is on your Ninja carb.

This is a 3 needle carb

rdeppen 12-20-2006 04:53 PM

LOL NO I didn't

I just hung up the phone with Mugen. Seems my good friend Kris :flaming: forgot to mention to me that he doesn't have any carb insulators at the moment LOL

Thank God my V-spec is still running as strong as ever
