Ok guys,
I have an M11 with a spectrum unit and the damn antenna on the radio portion broke so it`s a little floppy now.Does anybody out here have any fixes for this issue.Shoot I didn`t even drop it or anything.Would some epoxy work or should I go for something else.It is all intact but the plastic swivel broke so it must be really weak.I am sure some of you had this issue so any help would really be appreciated!

I had the same thing happen. I put a small piece of black shrink wrap over the swivel part. It looks clean (you can't even tell it is there) and it hold the antenna in place.

You could mod the antenna into the radio. There are threads already started on how to do this.

Mine also broke and I had to rework it. I have an M8 though. I mounted the antenna from the spektrum in the radio antenna slot. It takes about an hour but works good and looks even better.

1) When you diassemble module remove antenna wire carefully. NOTE: two prongs where antenna wire can be plugged. Make note of which plug. I think it's the top one.

2) Put antenna in radio but you may have to widen antenna hole on radio a little. Swivel from spektrum is not used anymore. Push pin out and disregard it.

3) Route wire through radio to exit at pins.

4) Snip module a bit at side joints just to clear wire without pinching it.

5) Now plug wire back into antenna plug on module.

6) Reassemble module and snap into place.

7) I put a sticker over old hole on module after dremeling it flat and filling with testors model putty.

Works perfect. Some guys put bondo on module cover then sand and paint it. Shows to many scuffs from sandpaper. I like the sticker idea. Good luck.

You could probably send it back to Horizon and they would repair it. I sent a M-8 Spektrum system to them and they upgraded it for a M-11. I have also had other problems in the past and they fixed them. no charge. Another thought

I had an m11 and I did the antenna mod on it following these instruction.

The instructions show an M8 radio but IMHO it was way easier to do it for the M11.

hey whats up

i broke mine the second day i had it.

if you pull out the antena and cut the remaining unbroken piece the antena fits back in nice and tight, just be careful and dont break it again.

replacement part are hard to get and usally they want you to buy another whole set up
