1/8 scale buggy or Monster Truck

My price range is anything below 500 that comes with and engine. I got radio. I am familiar with on road electric and nitro. I just want something thats fast in dirt, rooster tails , jumps. Just something to have fun with. I don't plan on racing just being fast and jumpin high. Whats to get buggy or monster truck

for that price range it would be easier to get a nice monster truck

1/8 buggies are out of that price range for the most part

1/8 buggies are my favorite thing to drive because they are so fast and nearly indestructable

the new t-maxx is only like 400 rtr and the new traxxas engine is fast

savage is almost same price and comes with a .21 engine but i havent seen one run yet

buggy is better

i think buggies will jump as high as a monster, better turns and more quick, monster trucks are a bit more bulky, go pretty fast, but buggies are more fun

Buggy

You could get either the HB Lightning RR ($335) or the XTM X-Terminator ($389), both under $500 + you could get better steering servos with the extra money.

Monster trucks are nice but buggies are totally better. More durable, jump and fly better, handle better. My personal opinion would be to get the buggy. However, buggies are more expensive initially but once you have everything, you're basically good for a long time. The Ofna 9.5 RTR is a really good buggy for the price and I believe they're around $490

1/8 buggy owners laugh at monster truck owners :)

I just love watching the monster trucks trying to turn, gotta love that body roll rofl....

1/8 buggies all the way!

(I have a Rex-x, XTM rebage them as a X-terminator, A very cheap buggy but good value...)
