$250, with no radio, no motor, no servo, no ESC, an unpainted body, and no batteries.
Average racing setup...
$100 for a Hitec HS-5945 servo
$115 Novak GT7 ESC
$100 for good batteries
$75 for a decent charger
$225 for a Spektrum DX3 radio
$15 for some paint for a nice scheme
Total: $630 BEFORE he buys the truck.
If he doesn't want to race then all that is useless. So is the MF2. He gets the MF2 just to bash with it and break it all the time, that's a great idea.
The Evader is RTR minus the batteries and charger, and stuff for bashing isn't that expensive. He could
use a stick pack battery from Venom and a Dynamite charger (Although I'm a racer and wouldn't).
