Many B44 Questions
Why is the B44 so heavy in comparison to other 4WD's?
I am going to get one and after thorough reading have noticed they are heavier. But I have also read that the front ends (arms,Shafts) are the weakest link. Usually the heavier cars are more durable.
Why do 4WD's have a lower ride height in comparison to the other off road classes? Also some suggest using shorter shock shafts to make it even lower I assume. Don't you want more suspension travel with off road?
What is the best turn brushless motor and class to run the B44 in?

i dont own a b44 but ill try and answer some of these
1-are you looking at weight of RTR or roller out of the box? the b44 uses saddle packs, most with NIMH packs which will contribute to weight
2-just because the car is heavy doesnt mean the parts are strong. it could be other heavier aluminum parts making the car heavy
of course the front of the car is going to be a 'weak link' thats what you hit things with
3-im going to go with LCG for thise one. the cars are fast and agile, you dont want something tall to roll over
4-this could be a pandora's box. run what you feel comfortable in. most 4wd classes are either open/mod or 10.5 or 13.5 class

How heavy are the other 4WD buggies? I'm just curious, most sites don't list the weight.
I know that the B44 with lipo is close to the minimum weight though so I don't see how it matters.
As far as motor goes a 7.5 or 6.5 is good for mod class but if its a small or tight track I would go with an 8.5 or maybe even a 10.5
