Has anyone heard anything about this engine? I just noticed it on Towerhobbies website...

sounds like its a new version of the cv, budget minded. I guess they have a cv-r replacement in the works too? The cv-r goes for $100, so I can't see paying $70-80 for this motor when the cv-r is only that much more.
