Default weird reaction BK2 with spektrum

my set up
BK2 with lrp v7.1 IB4200 DX3

for some odd ball reason if i steer more then 3/4 of the steering travel
the buggy will slow down and act like a dead battery

as soon as i let of the steering the buggy takes off and runs fine

but any time i steer more then the radio seems to want me to i get a real slow stutter

tried everything i can think of

even used another radio the problem wasnt there with my ex1

not sure on the version of software thats on it

but i did take this radio and receiver out of my T4 it ran fine with a novak 7.5 and gtb esc

has anyone had this problem before

starting to go nuts here

any advice would be great
thanks in advance

im betting the fail safe is kicking in you may need to send in the rx i think they made some sort of dieode for the rx for problems like that.

i do not know if this is your problem or not, but a friend and i both where using specktrum, when i started having some of the same problems as you describe. at first the tech help said it was the motor, got new motor, still had problem, then it was esc, got new esc, still had problem, then sent rx's in and returned, still had problem, the last time i was the talking to some higher tech. the problem according to him was the group of things, stock motor, Q2 esc, jr9000s servo, high traction, causing a voltage drop. the fix is a 5.99 capacitor that spektrum sells. never had a problem again. that was in my stock bk2, stock mf2

this may help??
i still race.
