Default Servo Shuttering...?!

I have an RC10GT RTR with factory HI-Tech servos. When I activate the car's electronics, the throttle / brake servo goes into some sort of electronical fit! It sounds like a rattlesnake! The servo "shutters" back and forth and it makes the motor impossible to tune, much less drive. I've gone through all of the wires and I can't seem to find anything that would cause the glich. I've been told that the problem could be caused if the linkage rods are touching. I checked them, they aren't touching at all.

I've since bought a new radio and servos, but I'd still like to know what else could possibly cause a glich like this.

Any suggestions...?

Thanks in advance!

More often than not, low batteries, but also check to make sure your antenea isn't touching the chassis ANYWHERE, insulate it with fuel tubing or tape, also check your crystals, if they get cracked, they need to be replaced, so if you have a different set, put them in and try it.
Hope this helps!!
