A fellow team driver made a point to call me today and said that the ACRETECH mt is available just a matter of calling them. Let me know how it works out.

matt,

If you are interested, you should look into also seeing about machine some parts for the SBV2. I know the hingepin braces would be something cool to have machined.

Thats great if the mount is still available. What would be really cool is if MRC would make its own hopup parts that Academy won't. Could be a way to have a nice niche market.

It would be nice to have an alloy bulkhead hingepin brace and alloy hub carriers for the v2.
Oh and after splitting a few SBV2 PC wings i have gone to the same Velox XB plastic wing which is indestructable.

Dave,

Do you have the part numbers for what you had listed earlier (i.e. - Hey Guys, Here are some pics of the SBV2 with the Graphite Conversion, rear universals and the one way on the shaft.).

I can't find any of these items on the mrc site. Can you help me out? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Mark

Great!

I spoke with some of the racers for a new track that has opened up in Manvel North Dakota (north of grandforks) and they are very interested in getting a 4wd spec class going using 19 turn motors and possibly the Academy SB V2 buggy. We hope to discuss this more in the near future and when next season starts up maybe have a regular 4wd class running.

Cain - sounds good.

I would highly recommend all those parts that Dave posted. The titanium carbon is gorgeous and it comes with an aluminum center brace that helps to really stiffen things up.

Hi All -

What Associated or Losi shocks are the correct ones to fit the V2?

I believe XXX shocks will work.

The B4 shocks also work.

The Griffin Pro shocks are more reliable than the standards, are cheap and look the part.
