jsmax: MRC has almost every single part for all of the ACADEMY cars listed on our website. If you click the car that you want, on the bottom of the page there should be a resource link in RED. FOr example click here http://www.modelrec.com/search/product-view.asp?ID=6451 then on the bottom of this page shows ALL the parts for this car. Just simple find the part# that you need and put it into our search engine on the top of the screen to see if it is in stock. IF your local hobby store is a MRC vendor then there is no reason why they wont order the parts for you. Hope this helps.

Default is it worth buying ??

so for those here in the "know" is the older version worth buying or should I wait for a couple months and spend another 50 for the NEWER version?? Is the older version "upgradeable" with a new upper deck, or even a new chasis conversion kit? Does the slipper in the original work as well as the new slipper? Any and all feedback is appreciated---thanks

The price on the original car is a steal. Where else can you get a fully carbon car for that price? While that car did have some issues, with a little tweaking, it can be a competitive car. While the newer car did address a good amount of the issues, it's not a carbon car. You can buy the carbon conversion and other options to make it a "Pro" level car, but then you have a couple of hundred more $ into it. Unfortunatley, even though the SB V2 is based on the original, almost no parts are common. The SB V2 is pretty much a new car from the ground up. If you have any more question, please feel free to contact either Dave or I. My email address is:
