the hpi nitro mt2 18ss is 12mm hex. not sure about any others though

cool cause i got a frog for free and i want to make it into a sand buggy only thing is that buggy tires are too wide so ill prob have to narrow them then narrow some mohawks
or i can stick with the 2.2 in rear and that small tire in front like 1.5ish
oh and slingshot or sand paw?
