Best batteries for servos and reciever?

Hiya, im new to the nitro world and i have a tamiya nitro force remote control car that takes 4 aa batteries, iv been using duracell batteries in my car for the radio gear and servos but they seem to die and slow down really quickly, ive been told that high capacity rechargeables are the best as they just die as opposed to slow down when running low, just wondering what you guys think and use and how long they usually last?

many thanks

You can buy single rechargeable Sanyo 2700Mah cells from Brent or he can make you a custom 4 cell pack for your car, most cars use 5. Send him an e-mail and he will hook ya up.

Tell him Bump sent ya!

I went from building my own to using the SMC packs with the Intellect 1400mAh's cells in them. Best pack I have ever used. And very inexpensive as well. I paid $20 Canadian for mine.

Get a lipo!

Before you go LiPo, make sure your club is letting you use them. I know my club has decided not to use LiPo in anything but Transmitter's at the moment.
