Tuesday should be the first "official/legal" day of practice, how it's always been in years past and also the companies agreed to Tuesday from the problem they had a long time ago of people showing up earlier than that. The track isn't going to start working on the layout until Saturday afternoon or Sunday I believe....I think they are expecting a large turnout for this weekend's club race????

Its not the layout that gives jesse an advantage its the fact he has alot of experience on that surface. Hes gonna be hard to beat there.

I remember last years Nats alot of locals at my track thought they had a good chance of making the main because of a big home track advantage. Madness was low bite with lost of dust on top and doesn't really groove up ever. We thought the pros had the wrong tire choice and yet they still walked all over everyone. I wouldn't say anyone is a lock and expect all the usual names to be up at the top.

Billy has been running the new Yok 4 wheel(very quickly I might add), and he has also been running a B4. Not sure if he is gonna race truck or not.

In his RC Car interview he said that 4WD was going to be his class and that he wasn't going to run 2WD unless he had to.

Can't wait to be there and checkout ALL the Action!

Too bad Scotty won't be calling the Race like he did at the ROAR Stock Nats!

Default Motor choice

For all of those running the Mod Nats, especially 2wd buggy, just want to get an idea of what's going to be run as far as motors go, personally i'm bringing 11-12 turns, what aboout you guys, anyone think that overkill horse power is necessary?

I would have a 13t also. Over the last couple years most run between 11 and 13 at planet in buggy and 9 to 12 in truck.
