Tight Piston - Is this normal??
I just installed new OS 12CVR fromTower Hobbies in my XXX NT. The piston travels smooth throughout the entire stroke with the exception of TDC. It seems very tight there and almost "bumps" past TDC if I force the flywheel. I have dropped in some after run oil but it is still very tight. I have not run it it with fuel yet. Is this normal for a new engine?? I wan't sure if I should just go ahead...break it in with a rich mixture...and expect it to go away? Has anyone experienced this? I checked the connecting rod and it seems fine? Any responses are much appreciated.

Just means ur "good to go" lol
All new piston and sleeve combos are like this it is how they maintain a seal in the cylinder to have compression since they don't have rings. You will hear it commonly reffered to as "pinch" when you don't have any more pinch its time to rebuild.
