Does it matter which hump pack? Mounting?
Looking to get a receiver hump pack for my T-maxx 3.3. I know it needs to be a 6v, but does the mAH matter? From what I understand, the more mAH, the longer it lasts.
The biggest one I found is this one . . . HPI 2000 mAH 6v Also, how do I go about mounting a hump pack in my truck? Also, can I use my 7.2v charger for my ez-start battery for the 6v hump pack as well? I think I can . . . Thanks! |
Anyone?

rdbruski, sorry I don't know much about that truck. You are correct about the mAH for the batt's though. The more the mAH the longer the run time.
I get all my batt's Bones Motorsports, he is a good guy and puts out a great product. http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=92215 http://www.bonesmotorsports.com/ The owners name is Brent Bones, here is his e-mail addy. [email protected] Send him a note and ask him about you charging question. |
u could use that battery pack if u dont mind the extra kilo thats gona be ok the truck...that pack is HUGE and is meant for the 1/5 scale gas buggy from hpi...u wouldnt wana use that in a revo...
your betteroff with a venom 1200mah pack or if u want buy individual intellect 1400mah cells and build your own.... ive got a spare venom 1200mah 3x2 rx pack that is about 2 months old and charged like 6 times..if u want ill sell u that and the appropriate charger... the charger u got MAY damage the batteries...and no u cannot charge a rx pack with that many amps.....u need 1.5 amps wich is ideal....more than 2 amps and u risk damaging ur batts..even low quality batts will stuff up charging at 2 amps |
