Default What's up with Maifield changing engines after the race???

I saw in pics that Maifield was running a V-Spec during the ROAR Nationals......but all of the postrace photos show a LRP mill??

Any insight?

I think they are still developing the LRP engine so he probably needed something that had been proven, I'm sure his sponsers know about it though. He ran the LRP .12 engine in his GT at the shootout and it looked to be a great engine. Anyone notice that the top 3 used OS?

Want the truth? Here it is. After an almost rained out event. When the A main finally ran, the track was just starting to get good. After racing for one hour, and trophy presentation right after the race. All of the cars in the picture are a stunt double. The race cars were still in Tech, and mostly brown in color.

Thanks to everyone at the farm for pulling off a great nat, Travis was on fire as were a few other guys in the main. Ryan drove awesome, he ran a store bought OS that was tunded by Andy from LRP, so we put the LRP head on for the photo we never claimed it to not be an OS and we thank OS for such a strong product.
