How to
I think the question is, Does anyone know where to get any info on how to port and pollish. Buy tools for pinching, which cuts are low end cuts and which ones are high end ect ect....I am dying to get this info as well. The other mod sites are cool and I'm sure they do a great job,,But it seems a lot more of a hobby if you mod your own engine. I have found ULTIMATE engine tuning gide that seems to cover a few bits. Is there any other web site that has HOW TO's and or step by step guides or videos?
Thanks

I have a book from my boat racing days, but I cannot find it nor remember who wrote it. It was way too technical for me.
Here is a link with some good info on two stroke engines.

The bottom line, there is no simple answer. There may be a few simple mods to make, but without understanding how to measure port timing and duration, squish, and so many other terms. You cannot begin to mod and engine.

Thanks for the reply. I want to read and learn all about it, I mean it isn't a hobby if ya have someone else do it for ya. The terminology you gave me is a good start for better searching. I hope it is real technical and hard to understand. Makes it more fun. or more worth while.
Quick question:
if you did end up being a dumb a$$ and carving your crank, do you need a crank balancer? or is there no such thing for this type of engine.
Also I know i will need a bearing puller if i get deep into it, but I keep hearing about a pincher. I am asuming that will squeeze a little bit of life back into a tired engine.
How about dyno's? can ya make a dyno to see if you are actually making any difference. I bet if your engine runs good after a dremel session, you will think for sure your engine ran way faster..
anyhow thanks for info...
