With Kyosho back in off road and Tamiya getting serious again with their 4WD TRF501X prototype buggy, the 2007 Worlds is going to be a very interesting one!

Cool looking track, looks really high speed.

I will seriously consider attending next year's Worlds....even as just a spectator. Glad to see it is a nice looking track! Yes, it is definitely in a remote area of Japan... not anywhere near Tokyo.... or Yatabe Arena for that matter. Hope accomodations aren't too costly considering it isn't in a cosmopolitan area.

Yup... all the major Japanese RC companies are coming out with Off-Road kits... particularly 4WD since that is what is popular in Japan. Let's see... Jconcepts BJ4 & BJ4-WE, Losi XX-4 & XXX-4G+, Yokomo, Kyosho, Tamiya, X-Factory X-5, Durango, X-10 Predator, Academy, Schumacher... that is already a dozen different 4WD kits right there! Should be a Blast of a Race to watch for sure!

Who's to say the track surface wont be redone before the worlds? My guess is that it will probably be pretty smooth, hard to say how they will go with the dirt though. Might end up being really loose like in 05.
