>>>BioDiesel fueled Nitro Engines<<<<
#61
Well, regardless of some of the negative opinions posted here since this thread was started, a 'Biofuel RC Racing Demo' WILL be happening later this week at the Summer X Games here in LA. I have been involved with this project since it's start and Theo Captanis of Pacific Coast Hobbies has recently come on board to help conduct the demos...The entire promo was the idea of Global Inheritance.org, a non-profit group that constantly conducts lots of similar 'green awareness' type of programs.
More info here- http://www.globalinheritance.org/
Hopefully, there will be some brief RC coverage on EXPN during the multi-day event...

Now we just need to convince the U.S. gov (at least CA gov.) that diesel (bio or not) is the future and to get off their asses and promote diesel technology. Gas/electric hybrids are not asolution. And E85 is the way U.S. auto makers can ignore their sever lack of diesel technology.
Anyway that is my rant. Viva diesel!

I plan to purchase a hybrid very soon, but since that's not a 'solution' in your opinion(which I disagree with), what am I to do? A friend recently purchased a 1984 converted Mercedes from Lovecraft here in LA and he has been pretty stoked with it so far...
