Default KO Digital RX Switch

I'm wonding what kind of experience people have had with these switches,

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=KOP60224

i'm getting sick of replacing the cheapo switches i've been running, but if these ones break too, then i dont want to pay the higher price for them,

so just wondering, are the worth the extra? are they going to last me a year or two? rather than a race or two,

thanks,

I have had two of them, they work great just push the button for 2 secs and its on or off. Has a built in jack for charging so you don't have to take the batteries out or disconnect them. The red LED starts to blink when the batteries start to die, so you have an early warning system built in. The first one I had my dad fried by plugging the batteries in backwards. I did the same thing 3 weeks ago, so I would still have it if I was paying attention. The last one I had was 3 years old too, they are definitely worth the money.

I have one on my touring car. I've had it for 4 years of oval racing and then 2 years of offroad and now, I am going on the 2nd year of On-road. So, I've had it for 8 years. Yes, I like it and I thought they had discontinued them. however, if you leave your battery plugged in over night to it, it will slowly drain the charge off.

thanks guys, i have been unplugging my batteries anyway, i'm running li-ion packs and i want to make sure they didn't get too dead anyway, i'm just sick of getting loose conections in the crappy switches, and having my throttle cut in and out,

i wont be buying it there anyway, my dad owns a hobby shop, i just used that link because i'm familiar with their site,
