Default RB Tuned pipe with Hyper 21?

Hi all I am after your opinions on a pipe I'm looking at for my Hyper 21 8 port race motor. It is on a Hyper 7 PCR Pro. The pipe that is on it now is the factory one that comes with the Australian kit, Hobao part 87229. My motor has had header, port and timing work done to it and goes much better. I feel this pipe may be holding me back a little. I don't care about fuel economy that much just grunt so I was looking at the RB pipe http://www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php...=reso_coudes21 it's the 4th one down the page part #01350-86. Has anyone used this pipe with a hyper 21 or any other buggy motor? what's it like is it worth me changing pipes or will pipes not make all that much difference?

From everyone at RB....
their new 2045 pipe is the cat's meow
Super low end, great top end and if you couple that with a longer manifold, rippen torque, use the shorter manifold, tear up the top end.
The pipe has only been out a couple weeks, but from everyone on RB's team its the best all arounder.

I just got the 2020 pipe cause of its shorter stinger for my truggy.

If I were you it would be the 2045 as it is the most tunable pipe for both ends of powerband.

Hope that helps,

The OFNA 063 pipe did wonder for my Hyper .21. The PCR EFRA 2027 is supposed to make the Hyper .21 scream.

Are you guys really talking about putting a 125 dollar pipe on a 150 dollar engine that dents if you look at wrong? It just dosen't seem right. The stock pipe should be fine or one of the JP series pipes would work also. On that engine probably the JP1.

Default jp1 or jp2 or 2027

tried bouth jp1 & jp2

jp1 too much low and will cut the power band at mid and over ref at high

jp2 better choice of pipe for that engine .
8 port pro(race) its a mid to high end engine(correct me if wrong).
and try MUGEN'S 1.1mm clutch spring and carbon shoes
should B very SWEET
but will try 2027 pipe and see hw it goes , so ppl hr dont need to throw their HARD EARN $$$ into longkang(drain) and pls wait for my post ppl....
on pipes ....
aft all this wasting of hard earn$$$$$$$$
enjoy your engine till the last drop !

this will B about 5MTHS frm now......B4
i replace it 2 a R.B.ENGINE WS7III.....

My JP2 sucked with that engine. 063 was the best for me. Never tried the 2027...but it supposedly awakens the H.21

Talking jp1 or jp2....HMM!!

still perfer the OFNA 2027 and cheaper than RB's pipes.
supose 2B a all round pipe frm ofna 4 any engine
(correct me if i'm wrong)!!

hyper 8 port pro(race) is abit slow on the low band
but the mid 2 top is pure sweet honey for this class of engine.
team it wif OFNA's 2027 & MUGEN's 1.1mm clutch springs & black carbon shoes(correct me if i'm wrong)..
if all this fails change your engine..

RB's pipes is for RB's ENGINES power band !!
THATS another class of engine

SO WHAT IF YOU GOT EVERYTHING TOP OF THE CLASS
IF YOU DONT MAINTAIN THEM!!

CLUTCH SPRINGS Depn on te surface you drive on
if you need more info go to this wed site thy got alot of infomation frm engines to batteries.....
www.rc411.com

ALL OF US IN THIS HOBBY JUST WAN 2 ENJOY WHT WE BUILD.....
FRM BOX 2 TRACK 2 HAPPY....
HY MAYBE TAKE PART IN A FEW RACES WHO KNOWS...CHEERS EVERY1!!!
