New chapter in the ongoing M1 saga:
I already had my doubts about the side-mounted shock anchor points, thinking they would be metal, but it now seems they'll be plastic.
In all fairness, that little tool to screw-in the O-ring cover looks neat. Sadly, once again, they took an area of the buggy where they could have made some credible improvements but instead, make dubious changes. A perfect example is the shock piston: larger body and shaft, but a plastic cap that will be yet more suceptible to side-loading (and possibly air infiltration) as well as only 2 holes in the piston.
This is another area where they seem to lose ground to Losi, who have also created larger shock bodies for better damping, but went the extra step of creating pistons with 6 to 8 equidistant holes on them to improve the movement and fluid flow even further.
