some one gave me an old Team Associated RC 10 electric buggy, heres the problem i'm having...when i turn on the car and the reciever the car takes off in reverse...the controler works the steering but not the throttle or brake at all....any suggestions??

What kind of radio and presumably electronic speed control are you using? You may be able to find instructions on the setup online if they are /were popular models.

A couple of things could be wrong.
You could have the positive and negative wires crossed.
You may need to reset your speed controller.
Your motor endbell could be in wrong. May need to turn it 180 degrees.
Your transmitter could need reversed on throttle (only if you haven't set your speed controller up)
