http://www.teamplatinumracing.com/fi...rInfo/II2.html

Here is the article I wrote up. I talked to Tony Phalen and Alvin Ma from the A-Team to get all my information about the new truck. Both of them were very excited, and proud of the new truck. Alvin had spent a great deal more time with the truck than Tony did, but both of them still were happy to get it out there for people to see and ask questions about.

First off the layout of the truck w/ the brace makes it look as though it will be much more similar to the electronics plates of a 1/8th scale buggy in which you can pull 8 screws or so and remove all the electronics. Secondly will the truck be as durable as the original?

From what I heard it was 3 or so screws. It's the TC3 box

Any updates as far when it will be released? Also, anybody know if GT bodies will fit the GT2?

Just guessing that since it is an all new truck that nothing besides the motor and electronics will interchange.

Default GT2 Pre-Production for Team

Guys-

We've been working like crazy to get the GT2 perfect for release. This week, you should see the top Team AE drivers out at your local track running. We have only 6 pre-production kits in the U.S. right now.

Ryan Maifield will be at SRS Saturday, and Saxton will be running in Vegas.

The AE team should all be outfitted with GT2 for the Gas Truck Nats in September.

Also, for those of you who want to run your old threaded shaft motor, you'll need the # 2312 SG adapter clutch nut. The kit comes with a SG nut.

Calling All Gas Trucks

"Ryan Maifield has issued a challenge to anyone willing to accept, He has just recieved his Team Associated GT2 and will be racing it on Saturday Night at SRS so if you have a Gas Truck then get it ready."

This was for us local guys.
