Default Anyone run a STS 28 in a 1/8 buggie?

I have just ordered a STS 28 for my OFNA ultra MBX. Has anyone tried this engine in a 1/8 buggy before? Any tips would be a help. Any advice for the break-in process as this will be the first engine I have broke in.
Cheers

I don't know of anyone that uses on in a buggy; they all have them mounted in a mammoth (st). They have a great powerband and are really cheap for race and bashing performance.

I ran the STS 28 in my Kyosho 777 Sp1. If you are throwing in the STS with rotobackplate or pullstart unit, you will need to throw washers under the engine mount to make it fit right. I believe I had to shim it about 2.5 mm? Anyways, with this engine you will want to gear up on the CB. I used a 16T CB. With this setup I was pulling the front wheels off the ground everytime I excellerated. You will like it. But I put the D21B back in for running at my track.

I was worried the power would blow everything apart! But its a strong buggy so I will keep you all posted, and get some picture on
