Team Losi celebrates their 25th year of offering racers unmatched race proven designs and features with the release of the “XXX-CR” 2WD off-road racing buggy. The CR designation is a throw back to the Losi heritage offering “Competition Ready” kits incorporating innovative thinking, cutting edge design and unmatched material technology. The Team Losi engineering and development team have redesigned and revised a number of key elements for the XXX-CR to take full advantage of the latest generation of hi-performance motors, batteries, and tires. The CR also benefits from Team Losi’s exclusive new “EA3” composite material for more durability than any buggy you've ever driven. The unique combination of design, hi-tech components and materials lets the XXX-CR produce incredible acceleration and stability through the roughest track sections and tightest turns. The wide range of adjustability and predictable handling makes the XXX-CR even easier to drive fast.

The rear end of the car has a ton of new tuning options, especially the vertical ball stud mounting locations on the rear hubs. I want to say there's 8 different options. OH, and you can't believe how thick the front shock tower is! This thing is rock solid. The new bellcrank design is pretty ingenious too. This is going to be one sweet car.

Yes, I know it has all of the titanium and aluminum do-dads, but I wonder why they dropped the graphite parts, unless the new composite is stronger AND just as light.
From what I can see, the front tower locations look identical to those on the Trinity XXX front shocktower (the blue carbon one for the BK2). Same stock positions with an additional outer hole. That makes sense considering Travis normally ran the Trinity tower on his car. I'm kinda disappointed with the rear shocktower, though. If they were going to add a fourth hole, why not go the extra mile and change up the rear shocktower to have a skip-gear type attachment? Then they could have saved money on the new mold by attaching the new ballstud mount to the exsisting rear tower.
