Dang it. I was hoping to get it by this weekend so I would have something to do during the JBRL. I guess I will have to take over the dinning room table again to put this bad boy together! The Family loves it when I do that!
There is nothing like a fresh car to take to the track either. IF you think about it you should be able to sell your Bk2 on ebay for 75-100 pretty easy so once you do that you can have an all new car for about 120-140. I would go for the new car but that is me. I can hardly wait for this kit to hit the shelves.
I thought of this before and thought the same thing. Actually exactly $120, even before the parts were out.
does that include brand new bearings, titanium rods, ball studs, ball cups, and hardware? that's easily another $50-60. Like Casper said - there's nothing better than a fresh car...
The 120 is just for the new plastic components (chassis, f/r arms, rear hubs, rear shock tower, front shock and the new diff rings and out drives). I already have HD ti turnbuckles and ti ballstuds. Have to use that stuff plus the bearings and shocks in I converted it. Thinking if I do get the CR to try instead of my B4 I will just get the new kit.

True.
I don't even have a BK2 yet (hopefully getting one from a friend when he gets the cr), but I'll probably just get the chassis for the extra flex, because I'll just use it in stock. I want to make sure to save for the xxxt-cr.
Casper, I agree with everything you said. In fact with the pending release of this new car, everything sounds great, and it has me VERY excited about it. I can't wait, and I know it'll be my worthwhile when I finally get the first kits that I have preordered since the very first day it was announced by Horizon.
I do like the idea of the new EA3 material that should be more forgiving to use on tracks, and at the same time they aren't electrical conductive (meaning no more having to tape up sides in the chassis for batteries, or concerns of radio interference, or shorted wires), not to mention parts are cheaper should they break, i.e. arms, towers, etc. It’ll nice to replace my BK2 with a new fresh car, once it is finally released!
They had a bunch packaged last week but will still working on filling all the back orders. Losi has a policy of having enough kits to fill the initial back order requirements before the release the kit so everyone gets there orders at the same time. Hot Rod Hobbies had all the new parts in stock and I saw team drivers with productions kits this weekend at the JBRL. I am sure it will be this week but not sure which day.
