Hi

My RC Buggy says i should use batteries with 1.5v output, but i have a few rechargeable energizer lying around. the output of these batteries are 1.2v. I only need them for the car recievers and Remote control.

Would this be a big issue or could i get away without buying new batteries.

Well the thing is that 4 Akaline AA's will put out 6 volts...

To acheive that with recharables (1.2v) you need 5 cells.

4 rechargeables only put out 4.8 volts. Thats a little low, your servo's will be slow and you're close to the low voltage threshold for the receiver. Best thing to do is get a 5 cell receiver pack and ditch the alkaline battery holder all together.
