I know, the drivetrain is stupid free. I'm actually going to Indy to Planet RC this saturday, otherwise I'd be there.

Building the car is an absolute pleassure. Every thing goes together perfectly if not its not built correctly. The car has only 1 e-clip and the rest is set screw, every thing is so simple that it doesnt take a rocket scientest to widdle or hammer things together. Every one will be satisfied. Just my own opinion!

The e-clip retains the rear brake cam assembly in the diff top plate.

A one color body? You need some PMD stickers for it

I bet it was your painter that posted pictures of that same body on the Starting Grid, haha.

Anybody have any lap time comparisons between their 8ights and their old buggies? I'm considering getting one, but of course I'm wondering how much better it is than most other buggies out there.

Wheelnut, I think as usual the driver will determine the results. I have not noticed any of the D or E main drivers laying down A main runs since trying a TL 8. I also have not noticed the faster guys who got one doing worse, which is good for a brand new design!

It is a cool car though and the build was really nice. TL did some super engineering work as usual on this car!

The only thing i'm ready to see is a chassis with the engine moved back about 11-12 mm. I am thinking that like the SP1 to SP2 change it would result in more off power steering and less on power, better for some drivers style. jmo.

Also, I think some racers have lost the piston retaining screw even with Red thread lock, maybe there will be a fix for this soon.
