Oh man... I've been away too long! I think I need to relearn how to drive.

Is there a decent 2wd mod turnout on Sundays?

Last week it was 4 truck/5 buggies in mod.
The week before 10 of each.

With rain I'd guess the turnout will be good.
Hit it!

If my first couple of practice runs with my new tamiya 501X tomorrow goes well I'm all for 4wd. If not, perhaps either 19 turn or sportsman truck.

I was snowboarding this weekend in Big Bear....My body feels like I just played in the Superbowl. Where's Boice and his magic brown bottle when I need it???

Trip- still gotta get with you on a good set up for the X car.
Been REAL busy with some persy stuff, not much driving.
Actually "gave" the first x-6 to one of the kids.
Got 16 of em rolling around our place.
Like the car alot, just wanna try YOUR set up.(b4 shocks though)
Or should I re-invest in a set of losi?
Any 'huge' belt issues with the X-5?
Thinking of 4wd for a while.

On the X-5, the belt skips, but it's supposed too! Some people can't stand the noise, but it happens. As for the X-6, you can run AE shocks and I am not sure if they will make the car run better or worse, but I won't know a setup for them, that much I can tell you. Most guys like Losi shocks more. They are much easier to build and are known to leak less and have longer O-ring life. My .02

Root - You may be getting fast enough to try the Rambler. I'll ask Nash and see what he thinks.
