Are you related to that boy ?
The boy made a big deal over some novice race blamming the marshall so I just gave him a little perspective.
You have a nice day.
for your information im a 34 year old police officer,, and im also african american and would greatly appreciate it if you stop reffereing to me as "boy"..
btw im sure my lil mini can take on your 10th scale anytime.. it isnt a stock by any means...
also,, i had no choice but to race in that class.. that is what they do when there isnt enough minis to have their own class to race..
i also race 10th scale.. but im liking the mini so much that i decided to race it,, so im no stranger to racing,,,,,,,
yes i made a few mistakes by over driving the buggy (new set up, and i waasnt used to it).. but when you have a marshal that takes his sweet time to turn you over,, causing you to lose valuable time.. while all the other marshals are moving quickly.. then i do blame him.... and to tell you the truth.. both qualifiers i tqed seconds ahead of the second place person.. giving me the tq spot on the grid for the race... i would say that me and my mini did pretty well.. with it being my first time racing with it and also driving it with a new set-up and a battery pack that wasnt completely peaked ..... if you look at the lap times,, you can compare other drivers to mine,, with 31.5 being my fastest race time and 28 second being my fastest qual time

Would somebody explain the new odd format on the race? I understand on going back to heads up on qualifying and main, but what about the time and number of laps?
It's whoever gets to a pre-determined number of laps first wins. After there's a winner your place is determined by how you finish the lap you are on after the winner crosses. Now ask me if I like it.
If you want to run 5 min ifmar quals, and 5 min mains, run Spt. stk/mod. If you want to run 6 (or laps that equal around 6mins) heads-up style with 7 min mains, run pro stk/mod. That is what Slim was talking about last night, don't know how it will work out. I'll be running heads-up style though, battling through traffic and racing for position will help you in the long run for the mains.

well i dont have a huge voice in this,,, but for me driving a mini in the bigger scale class (not enough mini's) i would love to see the former way of qualifying.. i was stunned last week to see how the quals have changed..
