I wouldn't put much thought into it. Stick with 1800 - 2000kv motors. You're splitting hairs at that point and electronics selection really isn't going to be a huge factor in a race.

Id rather have more and not need it than want more and not have it but extra mah never stopped anyone where as not enough has

A friend of mine ran a 1700 kv motor. I ran a 1900. Yes he had to gear up but his was smoother. With the current speed controls you can adjust them to make the power feel smoother or more aggressive. I would just go with a 1900. It’s the perfect all around motor IMO.
