one more question

Just bought my 4yr old a traxxas electric rustler...I know call me crazy

Whats the slowest motor I can put into this truck until he gets used to controlling it??

A silver can 540, like supplied with tamiya kits, is as slow as you can get.

You could also consider installing a smaller pinion gear. It will slow the car down and boost exceleration.

Cybervex- I got my 5 year old one. He does fine with it. I even put a Camelion 19t motor in it-its fast and he has a blast running with the big kids!!

My 5 year old nephew had no trouble with a Bandit with the 19T Stinger, and at 6 was doing wheelies with my Clodzilla4 with twin SG2 Jades. Just talk him through the first couple of runs.

Merry Xmas!!!

Thanks for the replies.

My son loved the truck. I think he will pick it up pretty quick. Unforunatly it snowed on Xmas eve here in MI so we were unable to go out and try it.

Man, yer lucky that you even got a white christmas. Here in Seattle, the only white christmas that I know about was when I was 2 and I can even remember :( . Here, we only get snow about 1 or 2 times each winter and there only bout six inches and all wet.
